should marching band be considered a sport?

i did marching band for 4 years and we practiced out side in the hot sun for hours on a hot asfault parking lot in 110 degree weather.jus as the football players practiced in the hot weather, i mean if cheerleading is considered a sport shouldn't marching band be a sport to and not jus a perfoming art, we competed jus like football basketballetc did

i think it's a performing art

also, cheerleading is not a sport, there was recently a court ruling in which the judge ruled that cheerleading isn't a sport

Being able to synchronize many instruments to make music is a very good skill, but it is an art and not a sport.
