She went to a car dealership one month ago and agreed to purchase a new car, but the car had not been delivered to the lot yet. She agreed to go the next day to a different city to fill out the paper work (the dealership had 3 locations and the one her car was being delivered to was in a neighboring city about 30 minutes away). The next day she went and signed all the papers and finalized the deal, she was told her car would arrive the next day (Friday) or possibly the following Monday. She had paid for some extras to be added to the car so her taking possession would be further delayed one day after arrival. Well her car was randomly selected for an extra inspection and delivery was delayed. Now a month later her car has still not been delivered and promises of delivery on the next day keeps getting postponed to another day. By the time she actually gets her car, on paper she will have already owned the car for a month. Shouldn't she be compensated for the month she has been without her car and what should the compensation be?
