Should nurses who get their doctorate (DNP) degree be allowed to introduce

themselves to paitents as "doctor"? Is that misleading to patients, or do you think it is appropriate?

Should they be allowed to apply for a license to practice medicine? If they don't get licenses, are they practicing medicine without a license (illegal) ?

Would you prefer to see an MD or a DNP?
 
That would be totally misleading in that environment, for obvious reasons. They may have earned a doctorate but they are not employed as a doctor.
