should psp have used mini blu rays?

okay, seeing as ps3's use blu ray, its seems weird that the psp uses a minidisc, as the reason psp's graphics will never be as good as ps2's is because of its 2gb memory limit.
mini blu rays would probably hold around 6gb.
does anyone see this as a design flaw? or a general reason psp isnt doing too well.

The reason that the PSP's graphics will never be as good as a PS2 is the graphics card. If the PSP had as good of a graphics card as the PS2, it would have to be much bigger (i mean look, even counting the fact that the drive is bigger, the PS2 is much bigger than the PSP, and it doesn't even have a screen, where do you think that size comes from).
Plus the Blu-Ray hadn't even been introduced when the PSP came out.
