...Freeway? I have personally seen at least 2 accidents caused by busses driving on the shoulder of Minnesota freeways. MNDot now allows busses to drive on the hard shoulder at a maximum of 35 MPH?!?! Why can't other transit methods use the shoulder? If buses can, why can't carpools. These bus drivers are not trained appropriately on how to handle a vehicle of this size on a narrow area in such close proximity to other vehicles. So speak up Minnesota! Should these buses be allowed to keep endangering your safety on the freeway?
If you are a Minnesota resident that has had enough of this dangerous practice you can sign a petition at http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dHBiTlpWOWpBYzVmSVlYd2dDLTZ4OUE6MQ
