Should this character have a berzerk button? If so, any ideas on what it should be?

I am trying to think of different quirks and possibly berzerk button to give my normally lazy and laid back character.--- Quick personality bio-----

My main character is a magical thief/conartist who masquerades as a travelling merchant. He is a bit of a kleptomaniac, and has jokingly admitted to having "chronic backstabbing disorder". His signatures are his raven automaton, violin, and an ornate satchel that seems to carry an impossible and ridiculously large amount of supplies. An entire vendor's worth to be exact.

At first glance, he appears to be a "cute shotaro boy" type character. Polite and charming (perhaps even a bit ditzy), he acts in way that it's almost instinctual to like him. This however, is part of the con. To his friends (or rather those he simply not trying to con), he comes off as much more impulsive, sarcastic, and egotystical. In actuality however, he is normally quite calm, and extremely perceptive; though prone to self doubt.

When it comes to combat, he is often extremely cowarldy (or perhaps lazy), and tends to freak out and duck for cover; preferring to let others do the fighting. This however, often backfires which often ends up with him having to comically outmanouver multiple opponents; until aid arrives.

Though he holds a number of cowardly qualities, and appears to freak out under pressure; when he finally does step up to the plate, he is actually an extremely resourceful and skilled fighter. He holds a superb survival instinct, which when used in conjunction with his keep perceptive abilities; he is able to trick and outmanouver far more powerful opponents.

He acts and pretends to be extremely selfish; however, he is actually a firm believer in the good of the people; though he is simply too lazy to do anything about it himself. Despite claiming that he only cares about money, he actually cares more about the excitement of making it; and is perfectly fine with giving large amounts of it away to random strangers/beggars.
