I've recently started writing greeting card verses. What I need to know is should I copyright what I am sending out or does it look amateur to do that? I know there is the risk of someone 'stealing' the work but most of what I have read of late suggests that you just need to trust the card companies. Some in the US ask not to copyright. I'm a little confused as to what to do. Can someone enlighten me please? Thanks.
