I am 22 years old male in college.
I've met this girl, we talk in class from time to time, just small talk and playful casual conversations joking around
she seems interested in me but I am not too sure yet, I'd like to show her some interest so that she knows what my intentions are. We aren't too close yet, I feel like we have built some rapport but the ice still needs to be fully broken.
next time I have an opportunity to talk to her, should i just casually talk to her then eventually give her a compliment, say something like "hey you look really cute today"
as a female, do you think that is coming on too strong ?
I just think it would be good because it would let her know more clearly where my heads at, and what my intentions are. (because as far as she knows, she might think i'm just friendly by talking to her or just open to a friendship, even though I may want more than that)
Even from past experience, I've missed so many opportunities with girls that may have potentially been interested in me romantically, but I kept overthinking and hesitated; never expressed that type of interest to them. So the end result would be ending up in the friend zone, and letting our time pass by. I regret those missed opportunities, that could have led to so much happiness in my life
