Sigma Alpha Epsilon + ME = Sell Out?

I'm a young African American male who attends a predominately white school. I want to join Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity but it seems that all the African American students are joining historically black fraternities. It's because of this that I might get looked at funny or be called a "sell out".

Any advice on how I can deal with this?
Who has my back? Haha
