Signing onto AIM on T-mobile sidekick charge anything?

If I sign in on AIM on my sidekick (T-mobile) will I be charged anything? I know that I will be charged like a text message for each IM I send
 
Depends......it shouldnt though. If you dont have the Sidekick Unlimited Data plan then you shouldnt even be able to sign on because you need it to use anything but the texting and actual phone. And if you are able to get on then it shouldnt be anything even for IMs
