my dad gave me his iphone 4 a few weeks ago. at that time, i didn't have a sim, so i jailbroke the iphone so that i could use it without a sim card.
now that i have one, i tried putting it in and it won't work! it keeps on saying 'no service'.
the sim works on other iphones, so i'm sure it's the phone that has a problem.
i tried resetting all settings on the iphone, but it didn't help.
everytime i try the 'erase all data and settings option', it hangs. i then reset the iphone, and it's as if nothing happened.
there is no option to restore the iphone on itunes. the option is greyed out.
what do i do?
