sims on a laptop?

I just got the new 4 disk sims game and downloaded it onto my laptop but every time i try to go say downtown or vacation it won't let me. It also won't let me save?What can I do?!What do I do if it doesn't have enough RAM, just uninstall it?!

The same thing just happened to me. I recently bought Sim Societies. My computer did download it, but would not let me play it. I called EB games for technical support, and they told me that my computer did not have the right software, or enough RAM to run it. Check to see if your computer meets the game qualifications. Some people have problems with vista and the sims you have to have a strong enough graphics card if you go to the sims2.com then you can see what kind of graphics card you need in order for it to work.
