@ Dr. Bob,
I think you may be interpreting 2 Peter 3:9 with your church tradtion glasses on. REad the context and see who the chapter is talking about.....the elect. God is not willing that any of His elect perish, but that all would come to repentance.

The God that you describe is a frustrated well wisher that has eternally decreed His own unhappiness.

This is not the God of the Bible.
 
The Bible says that God desires that none should perish. Jesus' payment had to have been, by necessity, a payment for all. Otherwise, scripture lies.
 
Jesus died for all nations, white, black, red, yellow you name it.
 
Yes, Jesus died for everyone. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believed in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16 They have to repent, then they receive Jesus' forgiveness.
 
jesus gave his life to everyone, everyone is his sheep he did to forgive us from our sins if he didnt die for us we would not have the ability to repent for our sins but because he did we can
