Since you've never met god, why trust anything he says?

I mean if someone came up to me at my office and said, "Oh yeah you know Chris, he works here but never shows his face or contributes at all to how things work around here, but he says he's the boss and you have to wear three ties at the same time or you're fired." I wouldn't believe them.

So why do you out right trust everything god said when you have never met him?
