Singapore or Bangkok? Where to go on a vacation?

hey there, i live in manila, philiipines and i'm planning to go on a vacation to either bangkok, thailand or singapore, singapore....

where should i go and which place is more nicer? i heard unviersal studios is gonna open in singapore in the first quarter of 2010 but the date is uncertain. they say bangkok is just manila, but it's great to shop there.
 
Singapore is a beautiful city. There's so much to do. You can go to Raffle's and have a Singapore Sling. Take a river tour and stop at Boat Quay or Clarke Quay. You can spend the day at Sentosa Island, go to the zoo, and have breakfast with an orangutan. Cross the street and go to the Night Safari. There's tons of parks, the botanical gardens, shopping etc.

Bangkok has alot to offer too, but will be not that much different than Manila. I say go to Singapore.

P.S. How did you make out with the typhoon?
 
My family is from Manila :D
But anyways, I think you should go to Singapore. It looks beautiful there.
