skateboard question: should i buy the destructo trucks?

my friend is selling his used destructo trucks to me for $23.
i think its pretty good deal. the color is black and gold. my deck is light blue / green and wheel is white.
and he said the trucks' color and the decks' color won't match. so he
doesnt recommend but its up to me . should i still buy them?

yeah, that sounds like a good deal. Just make sure that they're not grinded down to the kingpin if he skates ledges and rails a lot. Destructo is a heavier truck, which is just preference. I like light low trucks for tech stuff but there's nothing wrong with a heavier truck, its got a lot of meat on its surface to grind on.

No one cares if it matches. If you're a regular skater you're gonna be getting a new deck every month or 2 anyways so whatever.
