I have a 88 Acura Integra (automatic), 138k miles, and I am not sure the last time the transmission fluid was changed but it looks about time to change it (ATF is brown) and while shifting RPMs are high and I sometimes have to let go off gas for it to shift.
So I have bought a new transmission filter & fluid to change but QUESTION IS: should I put some 'stop slip'/cleaning solution in it, run it, then drain and fill it with new fluid and be done with it? Or should I drain and fill multiple times with new fluid over a week or two?
