Slow keyboard response on iPhone 4?

I just recently I got the iPhone four. It hasn't been exposes to hot environments or water or humid places like the bathroom. I haven't dropped it. I do let it die a lot. I've has this phone for almost a month and the keyboard response is slow.. What could cause this? And how do I fix it?

Try going to settings, general, spotlight search and uncheck everything. Then go to settings, safari, and clear cache, and cookies.

Afterwards try performing a Hard Reset twice by pressing down the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time and continue to hold them till the phone shuts off. Then restart the phone by pressing and hold the sleep/wake button. Once the phone reloads the home screen perform a Hard Reset once more.
