smartest dc universe character?

never read a comic book in my life so im behind on most of this, but who is smartest dc character? i heard braniac, but isn't lucifer morning star smartest of all? he's more powerful than every1 cept the presence and he tricks gods and stuff and creates universes etc. so how is braniac smarter than him?
 
This sounds like some confusion between, information, acumen and ability. The Presence has information. It is aware. It knows everything. That doesn't make it the smartest. Smart is defined as sharp quick thought. Which is an apt description of Batman, who no matter his quickness is still merely human. Still Lucifer Morning Star is a creature with extreme ability and power but does that mean he possess insight or judgement? We also have to question the insight and judgement of a being like Brainiac. He decided to be a criminal. Is that smart?

So that kind of leaves us with Superman. He is powerful, he has ability, he has acumen. But Supes does get spanked by Bats on a regular basis. This a puzzler.

What the heck, Wonder Woman.
 
The smartest is The Presence because he's omniscient and knows everything that ever was and ever will be.

@ARC The Presence knows more about Batman than Batman does.
