So I'm getting a new cell phone September 7th, so I need to start saving up. I've decided to either get the Samsung Acclaim or Samsung Messenger Touch. For the Samsung Acclaim it says you need to purchase a smartphone data plan. What is it? Is it like easyedge? If it is easyedge then we have it already. So please tell me in vivid description what a smartphone data plan is. I've been told its easyedge but I am also getting told other. If i'm not able to get the Acclaim, then I'm getting the Samsung Messenger Touch.

Oh sorry! I have US Cellular. Easyedge is just a place you get buy ringtones and games and stuff and purchase things. They have easyedge to go which lets you get on facebook myspace, check weather, ect
Oh and is this a one time thing as in you only have to pay it once or is it a monthly thing? Approxamitely how much is it?
