Smelly belly button- after using under armour?

i just bought compression under armour today i thought it would help with my sweating and it being hot while playing sports which it did. but when i got home and took off the compression shirt i noticed a smell and it turns out it was my belly button. my belly button was also bleeding. Could this be because of the under armour? What could i do about the smell?
