So I found a T-mobile HTC Android, but its locked. How do I unlock it?

I am really stupid. i played with the phone and made a special pattern that locks the phone( I should have done that, but i did) and i forgot the special pattern and the only way the phone will unlock is if i signed in to google but i found this phone and i dont know the owners account info. Is there a way to unlock it or is it hopeless???????
 
its most likely hopeless. you can try to call tmobile, but i doubt that will work
