so i have a question about daily calories and nutrients?

I was thinking over this because im trying to find a way to lose weight. Im quite overweight for my age (14) and i want to get to 150 lb so i was thinking of different concepts and here is what ran scross my mind: we need to eat a certain amount of food a day to keep from going into starvation mode. The reason we go into starvation mode when we dont get enough food and our bodies freak out. What is in food that makes it important and all around a necessary part of our lives? Vitamins and nutrients. If i took vitamins and things like calcium pills, i could avoid a lot of food wih lots of calories. The reason im thinkig so far into this is because i have really bad metabolism from boh of my parents :p i also want to keep things simple: when i use dieting programs like healhy hoice or when i count caloriesthings get technical and take too muh effort for my liking. I lose motivation quickly. So i also had the plan of eating the same things everyday, like 1 glass of milk, an apple, top ramen and some chicken. It keeps it simple and if i alreay have the total of the calories for this stuff written down, it saves me from having to draw out meals by sitting down and adding up the calories every day. I also decided im. going to start takingdaily walks with a set route. opinions and ideas would be appreciated greatly!!
