So which is actually closer in belief to Islam: Judaism or Christianity?

I have heard many Muslims say Christianity, but from my study of religions that can't be true. Jews and Muslims view God the same way, as entirely one, no persons, and will never become a man. Jews and Muslims have appointed daily prayers and abstain from certain foods.

I agree. Don't Islam and Judaism have a proscription against imaging God? I think that Christianity anthropomorphises God more that the other two.

Yes,you are right.Both Judaism and Islam are purely monotheistic,while Christianity has a complexed version of monotheism because of trinity.
