I believe soccer is better. Soccer may be boring but wow. When somebody scores, soccer goals look way cooler than just seeing people jumping and throwing a ball into a net about 50 times. And in soccer you need more team work than in basketball. In soccer it is difficult to get the ball and run to the other side of the field and score. In basketball if your near half court you can simply throw it and hope to make it. Soccer cannot be removed!!! What's happening to the nba with the lockout? In soccer, if your favorite league is not available - go to another one. If you like mls and is not available, watch the mexican fmf league or spanish lfp and so on. And yes, each country has its own style of playing. If you see a mls game then fmf, you will see big difference how the players play. Also soccer has multiple international cups (confederations, copa america, gold cup, world cup etc etc.) Using each country-born players. Only instance where I have seen basketball expanding to different nations is spain. That's it. And soccer you play for 90 minutes a game. In basketball a little more than 48 minutes. You only get 3 player changes most of the time(5 in other countries, 9 in international friendlies). In basketball you can come back in? Soccer you can't. And what is up with those time outs?! It looks like the spend more time in time out than actually playing. If there were no time outs basketball would be over just over an hour. And why is the basketball court so small and the players so big? They just need to take a few steps to go to the other side of the court. They should of made it bigger.
