solder a wireless card?

Alright, yesterday when my girlfriend was moving my PC she accidentally snapped the antenna cover off of my wireless card .. which was fine .. but after i fixed it i realized i was not getting much connection anymore .. i took it off and found that the wire was snapped as well . ... so i put a copper wire in the place of the old wire and it worked for a wile... but now its falling off again.

My question is does solder work as a conductor (for antennas) or is there another way to fix this that I'm not thinking of (other then buying a new one i mean XD)

Try it. If you wreck it you're no worse off. You're probably going to have to buy a new one (and get a new girlfriend) anyway.
