Looking for any other suggestions as well.
I have a Casio PX 200 digital piano at home, and I also love doing singing, and I want to get a set up so that I can record both my singing and recording at the same time (a microphone on a stand) onto my computer.
1. Do condenser mics like the SM58 amplify your voice but at the same time records it on the computer? I'm not planning to get anything else like an amplifier though, so would my voice be amplified on my computer speakers?
2. I recently have been looking at stereo recorders like Zoom H2 or Olympus LS-10, can they be used in the setup I want and also serve as an amplifying microphone?
I sorta want both features at once, eg. I wouldn't mind another karaoke microphone, but I kind of would like a recorder that can help me out at lectures or concerts whatnot.
