I will preface this question by stating that I am not a believer in the accepted norms of religion. However, I am not a disbeliever either. Pity me if you will but that is the case and I am happy in my ignorance.

Now, the question, asked in pursuit of knowlege.

If The Lord is "all forgiving" as I am told often enough and therefore forgives me for all my sins, surely The Lord will forgive me the sin of ignorance. If this is so, why do I have to make a stand, one way or the other? Why can't I just be happy in my ignorance knowing I will be forgiven?

Is it that The Lord can forgive anything EXCEPT not believing? Is this not just convenient for those who believe to say to those who either do not believe or just do not know what to believe?
theone78... you need to learn to differentiate between knowledge seekers and miscreants before calling anyone a worker of iniquity. My question is based on interaction with people, not on the scriptures.
FC... Read ALL the words... "However, I am not a disbeliever either."

You are missing the key that unlocks forgiveness.....you have to ask!

If you dont ask to be forgiven for your sins, then they arent forgiven.

Id like to say..i dont like you saying Ignorance..its not ignorance of god..its rebellion.

You think its mean and unfair he wont let you in heaven for your rebellion against him or as you say "ignorance"?...Youve been warned of the consequence, and now its your choice...you know the consequences of the decision...surely God isnt harsh, you are just being stupid.
