short film with me...? The problem is he has no talent in writing, directing, or editing, he doesn't have much vision as a storyteller, he's not a good producer because he doesn't get along with people, and he's not an executive producer because he doesn't have any money. But he's convinced he's gonna be a big time Hollywood producer and wants to make a short with me to enter film festivals.
I'm not insanley talented, but I do think I have talent in terms of writing and editing, and I know that just because you make a short film, doesn't guarntee you into any festival, much less winning or getting noticed, and much less "making it big" in Hollywood.
He says I don't have vision and ten years from now I'll be working for him....should I give him a shot or should I follow my instincts and go my own way (mind you he's never made any film, short or feature, while I have had short films in festivals).
Any advice?
