Someone please explain to me what may be happening to my wifi internet connection...

...given the datails below.? We have 2 laptops in our house and 1 has been paid for wireless internet. So I spoofed my laptops wireless receiver mac address to that of the paid one. The wifi ISP uses mac address authentication. I used to browse for some months but the ISP did something and now I can only connect but I receive no packets. So my taskbar wireless icon is showing connected but black because their is no activity. Actually the ISP started providing static IP address for each mac address.I discovered the IP address does not change untill you change the mac address. I also realized I can change the IP address and browse for some minutes I think. I do not know if I am being paranoid but someone please explain to me what the ISP has done.
You have to get that what the ISP is doing is meant to block spoofed mac addresses. So stop telling me about the routers etc. The router is somewhere in my town in a wifi access point mast. It is on a booster mast. I just coonect using my laptop wifi,period.
