long ago, where i was actually...? looking around in my dream at the (somewhat weird) landscape around me and thought to myself..wow my heads created all this this is cool i can do what i want and its not even real! i actually found it quite amusing that i had realized this in my dream. I have also been able to wake myself up if I've wanted aswel, usually by moving my body..anyways, is this a common thing? i don't really hear much about it but im sure there must be others that experience it. can anyone potentially do it? can it be a thing thats learned?

that's crazy!! reminds me of the movie Inception. and yes! its called Lucid dreaming. i just found it online and am looking into it. you're question interests me! but apparently its possible!

this is possible after the age of 9 or so, because you get so used to it, your brain can better tell real from fake, even though in a dream your brain is, in a sense, tricking itself to think this is real, but it gets used to its own tricks, so every once in a while you notice that the dream is actually a dream.

it takes practice.every once in a while people experience lucid dreaming without realizing it.it is amazing you remember it at all.i can wake myself up by squinting really hard and forcing my eyes open in my dream.i have also discovered if i die or orgasm in my dream i wake up.the first time you realize you are dreaming most people wake up from excitement
