Sonar Home Studio users - how do you export a file to share w/other shs users?

I'm trying to export a song file to a format that will allow me to put it on a data disc, and give it to another shs user to finish his tracks. I've tried exporting to RIFF Wave format, but when I put it on a data disc and tried to open the file from the disc, it was a no-go. Any ideas?
