Sony Ericsson C905A Functionality Without Data?

So I ordered a Sony Ericsson C905a from Rogers without any data. Im just wondering which of the functions will I be able to use without data. And out of those, which can I use without Wi-Fi? Or does Wi-Fi use data? Cause the rep told me that GPS will work without data. Later I looked on several forums and now im not so sure. Just wondering, if GPS doesn't work, should I complain to rogers? Cause I specifically asked what functions will work without data and the rep said they will all work.
