I am in the market for a new MP3 player due to an unfortunate accident involving my first generation iPod Nano and water. It decided it wanted to go swimming.

But anyway, I've been doing some searching and I've narrowed it down to the Sony NWZ-E436F 4GB Walkman or the SanDisk Sansa Fuze 4GB. I chose those two for their very affordable price (compared to the iPods and Zunes) and not horrible reviews.

Now I just can't decide between the two.

If it helps, I'll be using them mainly for MP3s. I don't usually put any videos or photos on my MP3 players and they're mostly just for bringing with me on trips to listen to music. I would like a quality FM tuner, but it's not a necessity for me and I can do without it as long as the MP3 function itself is of good quality. I'm looking for a good battery life as well since I use these on long car trips/plane rides.

If anyone can offer any input, it'd be really helpful.

Thank you!

Oh, and if you know of any other affordable MP3 players that you're fond of, please let me know if you recommend it.

Good day!
