Sony VAIO unable to recognize bluetooth?

My SONY VAIO(E series VPCEH15EN) laptop is able to receive files through bluetooth but unable to transfer files to other devices.I tried connecting it with my Nokia E-5 but am just not able to receive any files.
please help!
