I recently upgraded to a 64-bit Windows, and it seems that rendering with XviD causes Sony Vegas to crash. It worked fine in 32-bit, but crashes in 64-bit. I simply need to render a video of mine in avi (I can't use any other file format), so I can't switch to MP4 for example.
XviD was the only codec giving me proper file sized. A video with the length of 1 minute 6 seconds became a 108 MB file with XviD. I have tried to find other good codecs such as Lagarith, but even that makes the file size over 900 MBs. What can I do?
