...cut off? Not happening on other formats? When I drag and drop, import. Whatever, my DivX Avi videos recorded on my KC910 phone.
Then audio on the timeline under the corresponding video is missing the end half.

Though, when I import the converted versions of the video(.MOV), the audio is fine. Fully there

Not sure why?
It didn't happen to me 5 minutes ago.
 
This is free, with no adware, just read all that I wrote here.

There are certain files that do not work on sony vegas.
Dont start installing codecs etc. Here is your solution.
I have also struggled for a long time and finally I got something free that works better than anything else I have ever tried before. It's a free program format factory, this can convert any file you want to any format ...you desire. NB NB, when installing the program it takes you to the install adware page, unclick all on that page and you will not install any adware. It is also good to learn about different formats as with this program you can save your files in different quality.
I like saving my files to mpeg2.
Sony vegason my pc does not play .mov files .fly and certain .avi files. What I do, is convert those files to formats that Sony vegas is happy with.
