Sound proof a vent without any noise?

ok heres the deal short a sweet my grandma is upstairs she can hear every word im saying through the vent shes very noisey id rather like my privicy for tonight i need a non loud home ways to block sound going to her air vent my vent thats connected to hers is in the ceiling btw
 
stuff some tea shirts inside and a peiece of cardboard to cover the hole using some tape..If its screwed on unscrew it then stuff and cover.
 
remove the vent cover and jamb a bath towel into the vent tube.
then remove it tomorrow. So what if makes the vent non operable for a while.
it wont hurt anything., the bigger towel you stuff in it the more it will block the sound of ecstasy ;)
