This week's Japanese hardware chart looks, unsurprisingly, like the previous week's, only with a noticeable increase in Nintendo DS Lite sales and a huge drop in Xbox 360 sales. The rest of the hardware gang floats in a holding pattern, with little in the way of software driven sales boosts. Sony's
FolksSoul didn't impress us with massive game sales, nor did it do much to shift extra PS3 hardware for the week, with the struggling PLAYSTATION 3 seeing a week-to-week increase of only 100 units. Hardware sales for the week of June 18th to the 24th follow.
Nintendo DS Lite - 163,888
Wii - 65,582
PSP - 32,984
PlayStation 2 - 11,962
PLAYSTATION 3 - 9,581
Xbox 360 - 3,369
Game Boy micro - 284
Game Boy Advance SP - 130
Taking a look at the full chart shows us where
Trusty Bell landed (#35) and that
Call of Duty 3 is, oddly enough, holding strong in the top 50.
