...you try to convert everyone? This isn't referring to any "I feel it" crap, I mean if a god came down and said to you "go forth and convert as many freaking people as possible" or something like it, would you do it?

Most Christians would answer this question by saying "why me?"

Mark 16:15

15 And then He (Jesus) told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone".

Although it is impossible for all to act as evangelists, all can financially support evangelistic ministries.:applause:

No. Some apparition telling me to do something would more likely make me question my consumption of certain substances....

If I saw the big guy himself, I'd sooner check into an asylum than I would believe it.

If God is all powerful, why can't he convert people without my help?

Each religion already feels that their version of god has told them to go forth and convert.
This has yet to motivate me into believing let alone converting anyone.
Think about it!

I have done stage magic; I have done film magic.

With a reasonably good budget and a well-trained technical crew, we could probably convince one or two people that an actual God had suddenly appeared, done a few miracls, and told them the Truth!

All that is required, is to know how to exploit people's hopes, fears, and assumptions.

Only if I really saw the need to do so .. and if it seemed appropriate, the right time, the right person, like they were ready to accept something like this and so forth, otherwise no.

Although I don't FORCE anyone to convert, and never have, I DO preach house-to-house about the Bible, just like Jesus and his apostles did. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and hold the Bible in high esteem, that's why I strive to live by it.

Matthew 24:14 is really important to me. So is John 3:16.
