Spiritually speaking, yeah it's overwhelming... but what else can we do?

it's too late for us, but we can help start a change for the next generation. Over half the world is starving, involved in war or dying of disease. 95% of people in developed countries hate their jobs, we sell our time and sweat while a hand full of rich men and politicians decide the fates of entire planet.

It needs to stop and we have to change it

Believe it or not, there are all kinds of other jobs besides office jobs and all kinds of other ways to live besides working for someone else at some boring menial job for a menial paycheck. Get creative. You are stuck trying to rebel against a box as if that box is all there is.

I hate you people who sneak non-religious questions into the R&S section just by adding "Spiritually speaking" at the beginning. Do you have any idea how many of these I have to wade through just to get to the funny trollable questions posted by good, old fashioned, Christian dumb*sses?

sounds like you don't like your job. It's not so bad waking up for morning commute if you're passionate about your job (and hence doesn't feel like a job anymore)
