Spit build-up while rapping?

When performing live or recording I tend to accumalate saliva in my mouth, usually during fast tracks that I have barely anytime to take a breath, let alone drain my mouth without slobbering all over the mic and stage... I mean, I guess that's why they call rapping spitting, but damn, I wish I could get through a whole song without sounding stuffy by the end because I am trying not to move by mouth because its a spit dam... What do you recommend to combat this problem
