ok, i'm 5 foot 9 and 220 pounds. don't have a belly or anything it's mostly in my bottom half. any whooo... i would love a sportbike of some sort. i'm a beginner. i just don't see a kawasaki 250 being able to do what i need. the bike would be for rec. i need something that can do good around town and be able to handle to keep up w/ faster traffic. i'm already signed of for saftey courses. i only have experience with mopeds years ago. so basicaly do they make a bike that can do all this?...lol i just need some direction on where i should look. Thanks

Hello,

The Kawasaki 250 is a pretty good bike and it can handle your weight. I suggest that you get some indoor classes on how to ride a motorcycle before you go out on the street. Moped and full speed bike are really different. Hope this help mate :)

Taking the course is a great move. It'll teach you life-saving skills and it's quick way to getting your license.

Take a look at the Ninja 500R and the SV650/Gladius. By the time you're done with the course, you'll be able to handle a bike that big.

The 600cc inline four bikes like the GSX-R, ZX-6, CBR, and R6 aren't very good first bikes. They're made for the track. They're a lot of fun, but they make their HP at high RPM, which makes them suboptimal for cruising around.

The 250R is a great bike and can easily do highway speeds, but you'll outgrow it quickly.

Go for a 600 they will be perfect for you easy to Handle and Fast. Go for the Honda's.
