I bought this aircard (Sierra Wireless USB 598) back in Puerto Rico and I would get average speeds of 50-60kb/s, some days it would refuse to go above 20~ others it would go as high as 150kb/s (in fact, it's only reached those speeds around 3 times...)
I've since moved to West Chester, PA. That's 20 minutes from Philadelphia so you'd think I'd get amazing speeds and all signal here ... well not really ... both, outside the house and on the second floor (my room) I actually get slower speeds than in Puerto Rico, and although signal level is usually at 60-100%, it would sometimes (almost every hour) drop completely and change to 1xRTT and crash.
It averaged 50kb/s downloading Microsoft Visual Studio >___>
I bought this card about two months ago ... do you think there's a problem with it?
