Star Trek Medical Equipment?

So, I'm writing a Star Trek fanfiction and am at a loss about medical equipment and whatnot. What I need to know is: what would be the proper equipment used to stop critical blood flow from a major wound to the stomach? If anyone can help me out that would be great!

Make up one of your own that sounds like it could have come from the show, like...

"Jim, to stop the blood flow, I'm gonna need a "Freezonation Distibular" immediately, or he's gonna die, Jim...he's gonna die!"

(You get the idea...just create your own original Star Trek terms like that...here's another one (hehe)...
