I have never been on birth control pills (or any hormones) before and I just got a new pack to start for the first time ever. The thing is I have to start it today (already a few days into my cycle but the doc said it's ok) or I have to wait a month. I want to start today, but in 3 weeks I'm going out of town to visit my family that I haven't seen in a long time to celebrate Christmas. I'll be traveling a lot and I'm wondering just how bad the first month is. I don't want it to ruin my Christmas with my family (mood swings? nausea?) but waiting a whole month seems like a long time.
What do you all think, based on your experiences on the first month of bc ever? I know it sounds like a stupid concern but I guess I'm scared after reading about the transition to your body getting used to bc...
