1. The circumfrences of a random sample of trees were measured and found to have a mean circumfrence of x"bar" = 29.8 inches with a standard deviation of S=7.2 inches. Find a 95% confidence interval for the population mean circumfrence. correct to the nearest tenth.
2. A random sample of 19 fish have a mean length of x"bar"= 11.9 inches with standard deviation s=2.8 inches. Find 99% confidence interval for population mean. Correct to nearest hundredth.
Im sorry number one is a random sample of 45 trees!!
