First off I'm a chick and not too bright when it comes to vehicles troubles. Maybe you could help me diagnosis this issue and help me get an idea what I'm about to pay to fix this issue. The engine light just came on two days ago. I've checked all the fluids and they're fine. My fuel cap is not loose or missing. I haven't driven through in large puddle or water and I haven't changed brands of fuel. My manual and what I've researched is basically telling me it's a emission system malfunction, maybe? Some individuals have reported that the EVS valve springs are needing to be replaced with this make and model vehicle. Could this possibly be the case?
