steering problems on 2000 chevy tracker?

steering feels tight changed power steering pump and belts did not help does anyone have any ideas on what i should check next

Check your front tire air pressure. Drive another tracker and see if it feels different. Look up your GM service bulletins on steering related matters.

Sounds like the gear box is bad.
