i have a stereo set up in my room and it has 4 speakers attached to it and when ever i play my music too loud the system shuts off. there's a red line on the volume control that if it goes above it is likely to turn off what i want to know is if there's a way to prevent the system from shutting off if its too loud. another thing: is there a way to increase the bass?

The reason the stereo shuts down is to prevent any damage to the system. You might be connecting too many speakers to the system. You can buy a subwoofer for your stereo and connect the speakers to it, connecting the subwoofer to the main line of your stereo. It would have help if you mentioned the brand and how you have the speakers connected. Did you have an A and B speaker terminal on your stereo, or did you just connect 3 set of speakers on each speaker terminal. Hope this will help you out.

Give us the brand name & model number - maybe we can look up the manual on Google.
